Speak Up New Mexico! Here’s your chance to tell your legislators what’s important to you. With the help of more than 20 nonprofit organizations across the state, we’ve identified 29 good bills that died in the Roundhouse in 2017 and will likely be introduced again in 2019. We need as many New Mexicans as possible to take the online survey and rate each bill on how important it is to them. Results of the survey will be shared with legislators, used to vet 2018 candidates, and help focus advocacy in the 2019 Roundhouse session. It takes just 10 minutes. We have an amazing group of concerned, dedicated activist citizens in this State. There are so many people and groups trying to make a difference in regard to our environment. But it isn't always easy to find out about all of the events happening or keep track of the efforts that New Mexicans are making to address global warming.
So I created this website in order to have a single place to go for information, if you want to get involved in climate related activities. I believe that if we work together we have the numbers that can create a greater impact and more influence, which ultimately will help us achieve our multiple environmental goals.
